Portugal-based Heel Tread has created a variety of unique socks and underwear designs that focus on classic vehicles and combat aircraft. The automotive versions focus mainly on Grand Prix and road-racing cars, including those from Lotus, Brabham, Ferrari, Ford and Porsche. For a touch of whimsy, Heel Tread has “Back to the Future” themed men’s briefs available, featuring the DeLorean DMC-12. If you thought there was button clutter on the average new-car steering wheel, then you should see what’s on the wheel of a Formula One race car. The Amalgam Collection sells full-size and one-quarter-scale replicas of the steering wheels found in Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull Formula One machines.
